25 Years of Rug Expertise at COVER Connect New York 2026
Visit The Rug Imports at Stand A13, September 26–28, to explore our latest handcrafted rug collections.

Twenty-five years of rug expertise is the message at the center of our COVER Connect New York 2026 display. This September, The Rug Imports invites visitors to meet us at Stand A13, see the collection, and talk business.
The image offers a glimpse of what awaits at the stand: full-size rugs hanging across the back wall, patterned pieces on a display rack, and folded rugs and samples arranged across the tables. It is an invitation to move beyond a single photograph and explore our latest handcrafted rug collections in person.
A Display of Color and Pattern
One of the first things to notice is the range of color. A large rug shifts from a deep dark border into a light center. Nearby, another moves through warm rust, blue, gold, and violet bands. Pale, softly divided tones sit beside these stronger contrasts. Each has a different visual rhythm, even when viewed together in the same stand.
The rack on the left introduces another side of the collection. Bold black-and-gold markings sit near black-and-white stripes, bordered designs, sweeping curves, and layered geometric shapes. Across the foreground, folded pieces bring cream, tan, brown, rust, and darker tones into the display. There is plenty to compare, from large areas of color to smaller repeating details.
See the Collection Up Close
The hanging rugs show the scale of each design, while the folded pieces and samples bring the patterns closer to eye level. Together, they show why seeing a rug in person can be different from viewing one image: you can take in the overall composition, then pause over a border, a color transition, or a smaller motif.
Some designs make an immediate statement with strong contrast. Others rely on quieter neutrals and gentle changes in tone. The display places both approaches side by side, giving visitors room to discover which colors and patterns speak to them. Come see the collection, spend time with the pieces, and share what you are looking for.
Details Worth Exploring
The stand photograph captures the collection all at once, but each part of the display rewards a closer look. These are a few details visible in the image to explore when you visit:
- Color transitions: compare the dark-to-light rug at the center with the neighboring design that moves through rust, blue, gold, and violet.
- Graphic patterns: look across the black-and-gold markings, black-and-white stripes, curves, and geometric shapes on the display rack.
- Quiet tones: notice the pale hanging rug and the cream and tan pieces folded across the tables.
- Small details: move from the broad designs on the hanging rugs to the borders and repeated motifs visible in the folded pieces.
These different views make the visit more than a glance at one finished design. You can compare strong and subtle palettes, look at pieces displayed vertically and folded, and take your time with the details that draw your eye.
